The Lamp

This thing is great! Well, so far. I wasn't home long and had it set up and ready to go. I glanced through it at my stitching. I may find mistakes in there...WOW! I didn't know what I was missing out on. The magnifyer is great. It takes ordinary light bulbs up to 60 watts. So I bought those with the enhanced color spectrum, they are called reveal, by GE. I could see so much more with this lamp. I LOVE it! Of course, since today was crazy, I had just enough energy when I got home to go pick up some food and then come home and eat it. I will stitch tomorrow evening and see how my eyes feel after. This should really give me the means to stitch for longer periods of time. YAY!

Hi Claudia, thanks for visiting my blog and your comment. I use a daylight lamp all the time at home and now don't realise how I could have ever stitched at night without one. You'll love it.

I'm glad that your lamp and new bulb seem to be going to work out so well. I love my lamp. Having good light, and the right type of light, helps so much in stitching. It makes it easier to see, and easier on your eyes. Enjoy using it and be sure and post what you get done and how you like it when you can just sit and stitch for a bit.

Glad you got your lamp Claudia. Having good light makes stitching that much more enjoyable. You'll find yourself staying up later and later just to place a few more stitches.

That's wonderful that your lamp is working so well. I love mine, the better light makes it so much easier to stitch, both to see the stitches and to see the colors. Plus the light doesn't seem to make my eyes as tired. Enjoy,

That's always the way it is. You have a new toy and then you have a busy day. I have always thought one of those would work really well.
Thanks for your great comment.
