Happy Friday to all of y'all! I hope you get a good weekend. Mine will be spent at work as usual. But when you all are going back to work Monday morning, I will be pretending to sleep in. (Mainly pretending, because I don't do sleep in well, I am up at the crack of dawn 7 days a week)
About the new snack food I spoke of in the last post...don't get Chocolate Caramel 1 point bars from WeightWatchers. They aren't all that good. And the caramel lasts way too long for as lousy as it tastes. I haven't tried my new cookbook of recipes out yet. No time, and I have to wait until I get paid again, so I can some of the ingredients.
So my feets haven't been bothering me much at all. I was thinking on my way home tonight that I really don't mind going to work anymore, because I am not in pain all day. It is amazing what a difference it makes. Even some of the ding bats I work with aren't bothering me anymore! I've decided that pain is a real buzz kill!
This weekend I will get to start in on some exercise. That will help get more of this flubber off of me. I know soon I will have to start battening down my hatches if I am to continue losing. I will have to measure on the food scale and edit every bite I take. I will have to get used to using sugar substitutes as well. That I will not like, as my tea just won't be the same. If I want to keep getting more and more healthy I will just have to do it.
I hope all of you out there who are following the WW plan are having a good week with it. My thoughts are always with you all as I travel this path. I know I am in good company!
Take care!

I have to agree with you on the WW sweets I just don't like them. I also find whatever they use as an artificial sweetner gives me stomach pains.
Instead of switching everything to artificial sweetners, how about just cutting back? I have slowly gotten myself down to 1/2 tsp of sugar in my tea and I don't count the points for that. So instead of filling yourself with chemicals all the time, try cutting back on the real thing.
This week has not been my best food wise, but I peeked at the scale yesterday (kinda had to since a nurse came to take my stats and blood, etc. for my life insurance policy. I've re-applied due to my loss in weight, I think I deserve a better rate). I'm not doing bad at all.
For us its Thanksgiving weekend, a challenge for sure! I went for a 3K run Saturday and Today in hopes that it will help. I won't pig out but I'll enjoy today's turkey and tomorrow's roast chicken. Rumor is tonight's desserts are pumpkin and/or pecan pie. I hope so becuase I don't like either one and won't be tempted by dessert.
Remember we still have to enjoy life, so don't cut out everything you love, or you're just setting yourself up for failure.
Wow, you're doing great on the program. Maybe I should give it another try. I didn't like most of the sweets when I did it before, although the oatmeal raisen bars weren't to bad. My favorites were the pretzel crisps. Glad your feet are doing better. It's amazing on how your whole day can be influenced on how you feel. If your feet hurt and you have to stand on them, nothing seems to go right.

Your comments aren't set up with your email address so I couldn't reply. Shoot me an email at midwestmommy@gmail.com and I can fill you in on what I have learned in the last 10 minutes, lol :-)
I'm sorry but you'll have to find your OWN Rosy Lipped Bat Fish to kiss. I can't possibly share mine cuz we're IN LOVE!!
Hallie :)
Again I have to say how impressed I am with you. Do you go to the meetings by yourself or take a friend? I also have to say that I agree with Dani at the top of the page about the sugar stuff. Maybe just cut back a bit on the real stuff and stay away from the artifical sweetner. And I hear there is yet another new one out there. Can't think of it right at this moment. Can see it in my head, but not pull it up to write about it. You are doing so good and I am really proud of you. You just might inspire me enough to make me find a WW here and get started on my own journey!
