Why???

Why is it that everything I own, that has anything to do with water, is leaking right now??? Why???
I had the washing machine experience over my weekend, now the toilet. The shower is always giving me fits.
Last night the toilet decided to sing to me sweet love songs of the toilet type. Except I am not a toilet, so I don't really appreciate the songs. Weeee Ch, Ch, Ch, Ch...weeeeeee, Ch, Ch, Ch, Ch...that was 12:30. I got up and fixed it. 2:30 AM Weeeeeeeeeeee, Ch, Ch, weeeeeeeeeee, Ch, Ch, Ch, weeeeeeee, got up, fixed it. Finally went back to sleep at 3AM.
Alarm went off at 5AM, I hit the snoozer til around 5:40, and then got up figuring I had better get a move on if I was going to be to work on time.
I had to be there at 8.
Got ready, looked at the clock and freaked out, I was sure I was going to be late. Got going, drove fast (but safely) to work. I pulled up next to the store and thought to myself, "Why the hell is the store closed???" I looked at the clock in my truck...it was 6:45, not 7:45. I was an hour early.
I told my co-worker I was not going to wait an hour to clock in so that I would have to work an hour later. He clocked me in at 7. I left at 3:30.
I was going to fix the toilet when I got home, but now the damned water to the toilet won't shut off. Hopefully, I can keep that devil quiet until Monday when I can just shut the water off to the entire house and replace the angle stop, water suppply line, and the flush valve.
Then again, I may install an outhouse!

I feel your pain, sweetie!
I don't think I've ever had two toilets that both worked correctly in this house at the same time. I swear everyone who comes to my house has to get the speech: "if you use the downstairs bathroom, you have to jiggle/straighten/hold down the handle for 5/15/30 seconds. If you use the upstairs bathroom, and it doesn't flush, then wait for exactly one minute and..."

Nope, water based items at the moment do not seem to be cooperating for you. I hope you are able to get everything resolved soon and that it's working fine and quietly. Not having to hear it when you want to sleep would certainly be nice.

Sorry to hear about your foot and the challenges with the shoes and brace. Hopefully the exercises help to fairly quickly reduce the pain level. Amazing how bad you feel all over when your feet hurt. I can totally relate on the weight. I know losing some would help me too, but I just don't have the motivation and ability to stick to things like that either like I did when I was younger.

Oh my gosh, when it rains it pours around your place. There is no way I could live with the noise of a leaky toilet. Seriously, noises really bother me to the point of...well, let's just say I am not a nice person to be around when there are a lot of noises. Even Scott shuffling his feet across the floor, it is like fingernails down a chalkboard. Isn't that weird? Sometimes I get ear piercing shrills and I just grab my head in pain. I think I have ear issues!!!! So me.....I would have had to sleep in the truck!

I hope you get it fixed soon or you might go CRAZY!!! ha ha ha! Sorry I have been missing, I just have not had time to be on the computer much. But I am thinking of you, I promise!

Could you maybe just sell your house? That would be my first inclination. You really got to work an hour early? 7-3:30 are good hours though...

Okay, so you can't help me unpack, but maybe I could post a picture of one item a day and you could tell me what room it goes in? I am a bit organizationally challenged.

I'm impressed you know so much about toilets LOL. This sounds just friggin aggravating as hell. Would drive me nuts too...Isn't always something? Where's that damn man around the house? Oh, there isn't one. I feel your pain.
